CFO / Head of Business Strategy & COO

Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic CFO/Head of Business Strategy & COO to lead the financial and operational functions, driving growth and profitability in the global fashion accessories market. Based in Hong Kong and reporting directly to the CEO, this is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a leading manufacturer.

As CFO & Head of Business Strategy, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for developing and executing the company’s long‑term financial and business strategies. You will oversee the Finance, Sales and Business Operations departments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving operational excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong financial acumen, proven leadership skills, and a passion for the fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement long‑term investment and business strategies to drive sustainable company growth and increase shareholder value.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and senior management team.\
• Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Oversee all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
• Develop and manage the company’s annual budget and long‑term financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations in all countries .
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditures.
• Lead and manage the Finance and Sales Departments, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Review and improve financial policies, workflows, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work with IT Department to drive the implementation of technology solutions to optimize financial processes and reporting.
• Oversee and optimize banking and financing relationships to maximize financial performance and secure favourable terms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including shareholders, customers, suppliers, and partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance; ACCA/CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 10‑15 years of progressive experience as a CFO or Senior Financial Controller within an international manufacturing or retail/consumer business.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful financial strategies that support business growth.
• Sensitive and aware of recent geopolitical events and trends.
• A strategic leader with visionary and broad perspective
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Exemplary business judgment, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders.
• Experience managing and developing large teams.
• Fluency in written and spoken Chinese & English is essential.
• Experience in the fashion accessories, white goods or other consumer products industry is a MUST
