COO- Multi Strategies Investment Fund
Our client, a newly established private asset management company focused on investments in Real Estate and Equities (A shares and H shares) is looking for a COO to lead the company in their Shenzhen office.
Job Description
As the COO of the company, the successful candidate will be deeply involved in the formulation and execution of the company’s core strategies, fully responsible for daily operations management, collaborating with various departments for efficiency operations, and driving continuous business growth and innovation. He/She will not only be the helmsman of the company’s operations but also an important partner who shares the company’s profit and success.
Qualifications
1. Educational Background
— A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related fields from prestigious institutions is preferred but not a MUST. A solid professional knowledge base will provide strong theoretical support for your operational management.
— Candidates with overseas work experience in international Asset Management firm will have an advantage. A diverse educational background and perspectives can contribute to innovative ideas and methods for the company.
2. Work Experience
— A minimum of 5‑8 years of Asset Management, Hedge Fund or Real Estate fund business operations management experience, including at least 3 years in senior management positions (such as COO, Deputy General Manager, etc.).
— Proven track record in successfully running and leading a team to achieve business growth, optimize operational processes, and enhance fund profitability, with familiarity in operational management models and key phases from startup to growth stages.
— Experience in the internet‑ and technology sector, or emerging industries is preferred, as the rapid development and innovative characteristics of these sectors require managers to possess keen market insights and quick adaptability, aligning well with our company’s growth needs.
3. Core Competencies
— Excellent strategic planning and execution abilities, capability to accurately grasp market trends and industry dynamics, formulating long‑term strategic plans aligned with the company’s development, and effectively breaking them down into annual, quarterly, and monthly execution plans to ensure that strategic objectives are met.
— Outstanding team management and leadership skills, with rich experience in team building, training, motivation, and assessment. You should be able to create a highly collaborative, passionate, and resilient team that fully unleashes the potential of its members to achieve team goals.
— Strong communication in both English and Mandarin. Good coordination and resource integration skills, capable of establishing good partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively coordinating resources, and solving various operational issues to ensure project success.
— Excellent data analysis and decision‑making abilities, skilled in data‑driven operational management, capable of identifying business problems and potential opportunities through data analysis, and making scientifically sound decisions.
— Innovative thinking and change management capabilities, willing to break traditional thinking patterns and actively promote innovations in business models, operational processes, and management methods to adapt to rapid market changes and the company’s development needs.
