A heartfelt “Thank you!” to all my wonderful clients
I would like to thank all of you very much for your continuous support and your trust and mentoring you have provided me throughout the 20 years of my recruitment career!
Thank you for allowing me to participate in your career success and contribute to your organization’s steady growth. Working alongside you and assisting you for so many years has been a tremendous experience and has provided me with a lot of job satisfaction!
How does a client pick a good recruitment consultant to work with them? Let me share with you a few points that I personally believe to be crucial in identifying the right partner.
1. Put your emphasis on the person (not only the brand of the recruitment firm)! You should choose a recruitment consultant with a long‑term experience and deep understanding of the industry/sector they are covering. This person will have a true passion for his/her profession, which is to find the right talent for your team and organization.
2. You and your hiring manager should always give the recruitment consultant a chance to come and see you in person, shake hands with you and give him/her the opportunity to thoroughly understand your company culture. This will allow the recruitment consultant to represent you and your company in the way you intend to be perceived when meeting potential candidates for you.
3. Always share your true personality and honest thoughts with your recruitment consultant, as this will allow him/her to efficiently tailor the search and candidate evaluation for you saving you time!
4. An experienced recruitment consultant will spend a lot of time analyzing you and your company needs. Don’t expect that he/she be sending you 5 CVs after 2 hours. And if that happens, there is probably a high chance that he/she never met the candidates, which should prompt you to re‑evaluate if you are working with the right partner?
5. You should expect 3 ‑5 CVs for one position to be filled. They should exactly match your expectations and candidate profile. Quality will always trump quantity!
