Career Advice For Candidates
Thank you for following my blog, after 20 years in recruitment and running my own business for nearly 9 years, I like to share some of my experience, my views and my philosophy with all of you. I am a busy recruitment consultant, a mother and a business woman, so I won’t be writing long articles, but I sincerely hope my short and sweet 2 cents can make a positive change in your life/career. I hope what I share here is useful for all of you. You might not agree with all of them, but I am sure you will agree with some of my thoughts.
The first thing I want to share with my candidates, especially to the new generation, please always give it your 200% when you are employed, 100% for the salary you are earning and 100% is to make sure your boss is proud of hiring you. He/She chose you out of all the candidates that he/she met so you should always be grateful to him/her for the trust and the opportunity. He/she see something special in you and is willing to invest in you. If you take this advice, you will not get eliminated due to market down turn or when you are older in age, the right attitude and right work ethic is the first two things that lead you to success in your career. If you don’t feel that your hard work and contribution are being appreciated or noticed then you are wrong, trust me in this, no talent and no hard work will be neglected. The Universe is watching all of us, and will lead the right people and right opportunity to you when time is right.
