Group CFO

Our client, a large family office from Southeast Asia is seeking a Group CFO to join them.

Major Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the CEO, you will play as key business partnering role in developing long term strategies for the group’s Hotels, Commercial and Residential investment around major cities globally
  • You will lead the group’s finance and accounting team, future corporate finance projects, plans and programs, develop effective corporate governance system, with effective internal control system, financial decisions to deliver financial and non‑financial performance
  • Also responsible for full spectrum of finance and accounting duties of the company
  • Prepare financial review and analysis, corporate budget and forecast, cash flow management, tax reporting and operation review
  • Establish and refine financial policies and systems to improve management efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain good relationship with banks, auditors and business partners & be involved in other ad hoc projects as required
  • Provide professional financial advice to owner of the company on strategic business development
  • Work with the Executive Management Team to formulate the Company’s M&A plans, financing plan and various strategic business development plans
  • Organize and be capable to be a presenter of investment presentations and conduct investors meetings
  • Promote excellent corporate governance to optimize business and financial processes

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant with university degree in Accounting/Finance or business related discipline
  • Minimum of 10‑years experiences in top level of Finance and Accounting, experienced in corporate financing businesses is preferred
  • Knowledge in Hotel Hospitality and Real Estate Operations and Investments
  • Strong presentation skills and analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Occasional travel is required
  • Familiar with local accounting and taxation requirements in Hong Kong, PRC and US
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese & Putonghua
  • Support the management on finance related activities for new business development
